DrainageGeosynthetics Solutions for drainage of fluids

BI-PLANAR & TRI-PLANAR GEONETS

BI-PLANAR GEONETS Bi-planar drainage geonets follow a pattern made by two overcrossing extruded HDPE strands at an approximate angle of 60º and separated at a constant distance. The intersecting strands provide structural stability and generate a porous three-dimensional structure to allow the fluid to be displaced in-plane. Upon request, the filtering PP geotextile is thermally bonded over one or both sides of the geonet to form a multi-functional system, namely drainage geocomposite.

TRI-PLANAR GEONETS Tri-planar drainage geonets are structures made by extruded HDPE central ribs with intersecting strands situated above and beneath and separated at a constant distance. The central strand provides the path through which the fluid is collected and displaced downstream and sustains the compressive stresses acting on the surface, while the intersecting strands provide structural stability and avoid the intrusion of boundary materials. Upon request, the filtering PP geotextile is thermally bonded over one or both sides of the geonet to form a multi-functional system, namely drainage geocomposite.
